Default Has anyone ever thought about...

Doing a custom hood scoop... but... different. Like... using this X-2 for 95-99 Hyundai Accent at Andy's Auto Sport But... turned so that they would be sucking air in? Iunno. I'm bored. and I was looking around on the web and found these and then i was like... would it be ok to do this? It would look nice if you did it right.. but it'd be just like putting it on the fender.. where it's made to go.. but yeah.

Like totally :P

Those aren't meant to suck air in but rather be a brake vent.

I suppose you could put those on your hood but I'm not sure that it would look too good unless you already have quite a lot of body mods done already.

I know what they're for... i was just thinking... kinda like teeny ram-air vents. with the holes facing forwards.

I think I have a vauge pictue of the 206...
The only time I've really seen it is when I play Gran Turismo.
But.. That's kinda what I was thinking.

Personally I would have the hole face the the rear of the car...
1. less areodynamic drag
2. air will be sucked out from the high velocity air blowing past the hole so if heat in the engine bay rises... it gets sucked out the hole.

Youd be suprised how not molding them still looks great. My tib gills on my LC arent molded, just color matched. But the gills on the tibs arent molded either, they sit there. So is my hood scoop. Its functional but not molded.
