Default Scuffed Paint, HELP

Ok, this guy that works for me at the tv station opened his car door by mine today and bumped doors. He has a blue cavelier and I have a black tiburon, my paint has about a 1/8th inch white scuff where his door hit mine. I havn't said anything yet cause it really isn't my way but I washed the car and tryed a wet washcloth on the white scuff and it didn't help, any tips for a removal? I don't really want to say anything cause a I had to do some things at work that made a couple people really mad including him and I don't really want to make anyone madder. Any suggestions, please

Well, if it was me...I would definitly say something. He ruined someone elses private property. He should be the one to have it fixed, but now that you let it go on, and haven't said anything, it will be hard to prove that he was the one that did it a day or two ago.

Anyway, the best thing to use is some cleaner wax. It basically cleans your paint and gets any dirt and grime out of it even after washing. After using that, use some good carnauba wax afterwards. If that doesn't work, then you'r gonna have to get some rubbing compound and gently rub out the white paint marks. Good luck. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

A white scuff mark? Check to make sure he didnt scrape the paint off.

well, washed and waxed today, before I waxed I felt over the scuff and couldn't feel anything, with scratches you usually feel the paint gone, but I waxed over it and it is hard to see unless you are about 2 feet away or looking for it, I am going to probably take it to the body repair place and see what they can do, if it happens again I will definately say something, but I don't think it will

That white stuff is a scrape, it happened to my parents Santa Fe when soneone opened their door into their's. Of course they have black paint too, maybe its just Hyundai's paint...

Drive it like you stole it.

you could always wet sand it with a very fine grit sand paper and then buffy it out, shouldnt take more then a couple minutes if you have the tools and I am sure it will come out looking fine as the day you got it.
