Figured I'd ask here, cuz no one knows what it is. Asked like 4 auto part stores and all of them are like "If we carry it it's on that wall" and walk away. Oil sounds like a logical answer, but i wanna know if anyone is 100 percent sure.

"Anti-seize" or "Never-seize" is a gray grease like compound it comes in a small bottle with a brush built into the lid (kinda like the rubber cement bottles) What it does is if you put it on a bolt or nut or what have you it resists rust and corrosion and will never seize up, so it just makes it easier for the bolt to come out if need be without breaking any vital parts. I use the stuff all the time on my old Corvair and it is a life saver, i've got parts that have been on it for years that i put the anti-seize on and they come right off with no problem. I hope that helped

P.S. you should be able to pick it up at any local part store, just look around by like the bondo and grease type stuff. :nervous:

Usually, anti-seize is silver or gold coloured... the kind I have comes in a little bottle with a brush attached to the lid. (like kustomaccent said) :

I use anti-seize whenever I take my wheels off... I put some on each lug bolt, and I put some around the hub where the centre of the wheel sits so it won't get stuck on the car.
It's great stuff...
