Default Passenger side window broke today

Yeah so I go and shut my passenger door today and the damn window friggin explodes everywhere. I didnt slam it nor did i push from the window to shut the door. Anybody know how much this shit is gonna cost for a new window? I am pissed about this although it was impressive seeing that safety glass at work.

Check with your insurance, sometimes they have glass replacement with a $0 deductable. If not. go to a junk yard. I bought a window for a car I used to have about 5 years ago and it was like $30

I also had the exact same thing happen on a different car . My x-gf closed the door and the window just shattered. Sometimes if something vibrates or hits it just right at the base of the glass it will happen. It is very rare and you are unfortunate it happened to you.

Back in the dark days before I had my own car and I had to drive my dad's Caravan, I had a side window explode while I was driving... I thought at first it was punks throwing shit, but I didn't find anything out of the ordinary inside the van... except for a whole crapload of safety glass.
It happens sometimes... I would take AUTOBOT's advice.
