I had a new timing belt put in and the check engine light is still on. When put on the machine, it's reading timing belt code ! Is this something I can fix, or was my mechanic responsible for it ? He cut me like a half price deal and say's he won't work on it again !!!
Hi...I've ordered an inexpensive electromagnetic parking sensor normally used on the rear to try as an experimental front sensor for my Avalon. I'll report later whether that's a pass or fail but this little tinker got me wondering. Is there any reason the radar cruise control sensor can't be used as a distance sensor? I've googled for any indication this has been done (or even tried) but came up dry. Any forum engineers have a thought on this?
