Default car problems

i have a problem! i have my tib. which has the 2.0 for 10 months and i have put 13,000 miles on it and i'm on my second set plugs. the set that was in the car when i got it went bad in about 6-7months the electrode was down in the insulator on one or two of them, they were bosch platimum. then i put ngk in it and it seem to work till now, i'm noticing that the car is starting to idle rough and mis out. like when i have it in sec. gear and up at about 2000rpm and slam the gas down it falls on its face for a second and then takes off. this problem went on the first time is why i changed plugs. is it possible it could be the fuel filter because i have not changed that

Make sure you are gapping your plugs properly. Don't trust the gap they come with. Also replace your wires.

Your car is probably arounf 50,000 miles maybe a little over so I doubt the fuel filter has been replaced. If this is the case then it is time to do it anyways. So I would do that too.

It may be a good time to make sure you check every little maintenance thing out while your at it (Air filter, fluids, oil change, etc.). Just give the car it's day at the spa so to say.
