95 Elantra 1.8L: I got a leak from the pan and I've tried everything from changing gaskets, using silicone, and using oil additives seals. The problem I finally found is that my screws keep coming loose and they do not hold pressure. Anybody got a suggestion on something I can do?
P.S. I even tried using 2 gaskets together, still nothing.

Try this checklist to look for errors in the work.
-Did you clean the gasket surface thouroughly with either carb-leaner or alochol?
-Did you clean the deck on the block where the pan goes, scraping it squeaky clean and cleaning it as above?
-Did you make sure that the sump's mounting surface was as square as possible(straight)? Did you use a fresh gasket, was it OEM, or was it another asket? If so, what kind of gasket was it?
-Also, did you torque the bolts down in diagonal order or just go round till you got ever one?
Try these first bro, let us know how it turns out! Good luck.

If the screws aren't staying in, are they stripped? The hole where you screw into might be stripped or the screws are bad. Try replacing the screws first since that is cheaper. If not, you might have to get some work done and drill new holes. Not too sure though, that would be my guess. Never had this problem occur.

BTW, HAVE A TAP AND DIE HANDY!!!Chase the threads before reinstallation to verify correct torque and possible stripping of the threads. Good luck!

You may want to use thread locker. I think feel pro makes it, or permatex. It is service removable, I used it a lot on altinator bolts and nuts that came loose under vibration and never had any problems getting them off. Takes a lil umph but they break loose.
Ok... I put new screws in and install a oem gasket. It's holding for now but all methods I tried did for a lil while and failed. Keep the suggestions coming just incase this fails also.

yeah tap and dye them to the next bigger screw size. i would also use bolts next time. oh yeah don't forget washers. I'd use some lock tite. if the oem gagsket fails again. find where exactly it is leaking from! you oil pan could be a little bent. allowing it to leak. in which case go buy a new oil pan. don't do the redneck thing and add another screw/bolt. also check your threads on the old screws? are any of them flatened? if you your new one will probally leak.
