you know how the big ass bug like to make their grave on your bumper? what's the best way to get those fuckers off? btw where can i find a bra for a 01 tibby?

To remove bugs off your bumper, use a clay bar. I recommend Mothers California Clay system. It comes in a red box and runs about $15 bucks. Spray the stuff on and rub. Bugs should come right off. Then wax over it.

As far as bras go, DON'T get one. They oxidize the hood and make the clearcoat cloudy. I had this problem and I took the bra off every 2 weeks to clean underneathe and took it off when it rained so it could dry.

my plan was only to keep in on for a week at a time. and for long trips.

Bugs are an unavoidable nuisance. When you wash your car soak it with water first, let it sit (out of the sun preferably) for 10 minutes, come back and soak it again, repeat a few times. Takes a bit of time but find something useful to do between soaks, eg vacuum interior. The bugs should come off pretty easily then. Also helpful is one of those sponges with soft guaze/mesh wrapped around it, they won't harm the paint and clean those suckers off pretty good.
A good coat of wax once clean will make it even easier next time and stop guts etc eating into your paint.

This really belongs in the Looks to Kill forum. I suggested a Detail and Show type of forum, but was told that falls into looks to kill. But since its been moved numerous times already, Im going to just leave it here lol
