fairly new to Hyundai, anything I should watch out for?

Hey all, new here, We just recently acquired a brand new 03' GSI model accent.

I just want to know if there is anything I should look out for in this car, it was not an expensive car, and it does have its little qirks, but for the price we paid, cant expect it to be perfect, Im not concerned with a few rattles.

When the car is cold, I believe it to be the timing chain to be quite niosy? I compared it to another new car, and it was the same.? Is this OK?

We have only put 10k kilometers on the car, and already someone stepped on it, and tried to break into it with a coat hanger., got it stuck in 3 feet of snow, and put a shovel mark into it while digging it out.:dead: Is it safe to use rubbing compound to buff out scratches in the clear coat?
