Dome light wont work.

The dome light in my '01 Elantra does not work anymore. The switch doesnt even move and its starting to come out of the roof. I have a sunroof that was installed before I got it but it was not stock. Does anyone know of a way to fix it or should I just live with it?

have you checked the fuse under the hood? I know in my car the fuse for the dome light is in there.

pull it down, see if a wire came loose. seems to be the problem. if so, put it back on a re-glue to light back up.

what type of glue should I use to glue it back up? Is there some that you would reccomend?

Im kinda afraid to pull the light down because its is still bein held on in one part i can post a picture up after i find my camera. And my fuse is not blown i just checked it.

I'm guessing silicone.

what are you afraid of?? dont think its gonna get any better just dangling there. pvssy.

I went ahead and tried to pull it out and I couldn't. Its still holding on to something in there. And its not really dangling but i can move it back and forth.
