changing the tranny fluid

just wondering if i change the fluid a couple times by droping the pan would it be about the same as getting it flushed out.....and is there anything else other than the filter that i should change while im there......

Drop the pan, put in new filter new fluid. Do this at least three times. Keep checking the color of the fluid. When it stays red it should be OK.

Have it flushed. Much easier and less hassle. You'll spend more money doing the repeated pan drops than the $150 it takes for the flush.
