Default 2002 XG350 repairs

I have a 2002 xg350l and I love it. 82,000 miles. Unfortunately I have a list of repairs that are needed that seem expensive. Looking for opinions. Do I trade in.

Bushing loose in rear wheel area: $550
Power Steering motor: $350
replace timing belt: $450
Seems to be hard on tires.

any thoughts. thanks

the cost of the power steering motor seems accurate enough...

but $1000 for a timing belt and a bushing?!?! :??:
that seems rediculously high.

i'd look into getting a wheel alignment as well, and go somewhere other than where you got those quotes from

Hmm..

The tire wear is just a simple 1 hour of labor and a good laser alignment.

The timing belt charge seems right... If the $$$ value was in CAD dollars.. not USD.

I am surprised that the power steering unit is required on an 02 XG... VERY ODD.

A rear bushing??? that much??? That is utter BULLSH!T.

Take your car to another car dealer.

NOW.

If you have mentioned trading it in... It may be possible the service dept and sale dept are in ca-hoot's with each other and trying to fvck you on your trade in value.

GO TO ANOTHER DEALER AND GET THE CAR RE-DIAGNOSED.
