Default Timing chain help?

I kinda feel like an idiot but I'm trying to take off the timing chain and hmaservice is being no help. I can't seem to find any link that looks like it'll come off or a "master" link of sorts (played with lots of bikes). This is starting to annoy me. There is 2 darker colored links used to set the timing with the little notches on the sprockets but I've tried those and they don't seem to want to come off. The last thing I wanna do is damage this chain so anyone know how to get it off.

As far as I know, the accent uses a timing belt, not a timing chain...

I think he is talking about the chain that attached the intake and exhaust camshafts.

I never looked for a place where the chain comes apart on my beta engine.... I had to take the intake camshaft out then get the chain loose that way. Then just make sure you get the journal bolts (holding down the cam) on to torque spec.

Yeah ended up sitting at a dealer for an hour so they could tell me you have to remove the cams. All is said and done now and I'm getting really close to a 2.0L accent
