Default disconnect airbag

Just got a 06 elantra. My wife is 6 months pregnant. The owners
manual shows no other systems tied into the airbag fuse. I want to
pull the fuse. Does anyone know if this will work.

I would seriously consider contacting the dealer with this issue.

However, I'm sure some guys will chime in with a DIY on doing this.

Don't mess around with air bags especially with a pregnant wife, talk to your dealer for sure, and if they are no help contact Hyundai Canada.

You need to apply to have the airbag removed (at least for Ontario). There are kits to disable the airbags it's basically a switch similar to computer locks. If your wife is pregnant definitely disable those airbags.

Keep the airbags, they are tested for this sort of thing, drivers airbags prevent you face getting mashed up it does not hit you in your stomach. The seat belt has got a way better chance of causing injury to a pregnant lady- would you remove those ?
