Default need tranny advice

my tranny is shot...had all the codes that pointed to change the pulse generators and reed switch...i need the fluid changed so i brought i to hyundai they flush and changed the fluid and the generator and the switch..350$$ they told me i they couldnt test drive cause the car was miss firing so badly....i didnt know it was miss firing didnt think it was...they said i needed new ign wires....but i had just check those and changed my spark plugs the week before..

i leave the dealership and the problem starts...car sticks into 3rd as the default..
i get home look under the hood and there is 1 bad completely different ign wire on the car...i didnt put it there so....who did...go back to hyundai deny the wire fully and tell me i need a new tranny...

what should i do...im selling this car asap...should i try and find a junk auto tranny and replace it have a mech friend who said we can do it no prob
or sell like it is and take a $1000 dollars off the price...i know if i fix it i will get it done for under 500 but i just want to get ride of the car....
what are some good junk yard web sites
thanks for the help
