Default Now that I bought a 2006 Sonata...

what can I buy for the new 2.4L motor? I looked everywhere and I can't find any after market goodies for it? Is it still that new that availability is slim? What about a simple CAI?

HELP!

If I'm not mistaken, that engine is the new Theta engine, the latest so-called 'world' engine. It was created between Hyundai, GM, and others. As soon as the new Dodge Caliber SRT-4 and the inevitable other GM boy-toy racers come out (all using the Theta), there will be countless things available for the engine. Just be patient...lol. If I'm wrong about the '06 Sonata 4-banger being the new Theta, then I have no clue...sorry.

Hey, btw... off topic, but do you like your car?

Dad and I were thinking of getting one for Mother, is it quick enough with the 4? Or should we go for the v-6? Hows the stereo and what not?

And you could probally make your own intake, get any one of those genaric ones from Autozone and get a different filter, like a K&N. It should fit someway under the hood.

Any local exhaust shop could make a nice custom exhaust for you too.
