Default How to test a MAF?

I left too much k&n oil on my intake filter and some got up to the MAF. I washed but i still get a low voltage cel from the MAF. How can I test the MAF? Also, is buying used that bad an idea for this part?

You are probably better off just buying a used one. It's not really a part that can be "worn out", just make sure you are able to inspect it before you buy it.
