Default 1995 Accent brake problem

Well i went to work on finishing the brakes today for this car to be drivable, all that was left was to put the bleeder screw on the driver rear brakes, bleed and then drive...well i guess i incorrectly bled the brakes, cause after i finished them and started the car, it was stiff for the first time i pushed the pedal again, then after i went into gear the pedal became all squishy, and then i found the puddle of brake fluid, all though im not sure where it came from, which leads to the question and problem
If you were looking down over top the engine in the car, below where the brake fluid container is, near the bottom of the car is where all the brake fluid came out, its by the firewall behind the engine, wondered if anyone could tell me what might have happened? or what this area might have for the brakes, in terms of parts...also besides me bleeding them wrong then obviously.

Did you have the top off the container when you were bleeding the brakes? If you topped off the brake fluid ever then took the cap off and bushed the pistons in that might cause it to overflow too. Not really sure but that may be it.
