Gearbox/ clutch rattle, Accent 1999

My X3 started making a rattle noise when no gear is engaged. As soon as I put my foot on the clutch pedal, the noise disapears. Anybody had this problem? I suspect the release bearing, but don't want to spend 300 USD on parts before knowing what is wrong.

Sorry, I double posted. When I first hitted the "add new topic" I got a 404:not found, and I wrote again the whole problem. Can anybody delete this topic?

It's either a bad throw out bearing or it might be a bad bearing in the trans. Im going to lean towards the trans itself because the noise stops when you hit the clutch.
