Default Leaky valve?

I have no idea what I am doing, but I am going to figure this out. That is with your help. I hope.

When my car sits over night, and I start it white smoke comes out the exhaust. Also, If I let it idle for about 5 minutes, and then step on the gas white smoke comes out the exhaust. Like a smoke screen. Normal driving results in no symtoms. Car runs great great, and compression in all cylinders is good, except one plug had some oil deposites on it.

So, I am thinking leaky valve?

Hmmm, also I have a spare engine with a broken rocker, can I mix matchthese parts to solve my problem? like take the head, replace rocker, and put on my engine?

white smoke? steam? You might just have condensation in the exhaust. If your burning oil its not white. Check you oil and water levels just to make sure.

I have. So many times. That makes sense, but water level stays the same over a 6 month period. And, leaving Berger Kings drive threw is just embarressing with all the smoke, and that rules out condensation. Doesn't it?

Well, I do need a quart of oil every 2 weeks, and that lead me to this conclusion. Can I be nuts?

Sorry, I am late in responding.

Yes, I have no smoke at all except, for when the car sits overnight, or if I a let it idle for a little while(like 3 minutes). Then it looks realy bad.

I know when a diesel does that crap its wetstacking. Oil is making its way past the piston rings. Thats caused by idling them to low for long periods of time. Do a leak down test and see what happens. It does sound like something is getting past something else when the metal is cooler, aka not expanded. When was your last oil change. When was the last time you change the pcv valve? :ermm:

Check the coolant for foam or evidence of oil. A bad headgasket or a small crack in the head may be incorporating coolant into part of your combustion cycle, especially if you've started your car up after not driving it (coolant has pressure, and heat, which would expand it into the chambers) or after forcing it hard (if there is a crack, the coolant has no where to go but through the crack)

If there is coolant in your oil, this is very bad. it's only a matter of time before it wears out your mains.

Good news: If there is oil in your coolant, not so bad. I had a pony do this for several years, (where there was oil in the coolant) and it was fine. I racked p 60,000 Km's on it and drove it to the wreckers with NO OIL in the pan.

Best $200 car EVER.

(also it was a Mitsu 4G series motor. I was prepared for warped heads and burnt valve seals)

Do a leak down test.
