Default Idle and power problems

My car began to act strange this morning, when driving the power would drop occasionally (as if i had taken my foot off the gas for a moment), and when idling the revs pulse up to 1200RPM from the usual 800 every one or two seconds. Any ideas?

Sounds like throttle position sensor possibly. I would pull it off and clean with electrical cleaner, its the sensor located right on the throttle body held on by two screws. At least wiggle the connector on it to see if it changes your idle. No cel?
