2005 Sonata V6 Starting problem.
My Sonata, V6, all of a sudden don't start. All lights come on, bells, windows go up and down etc. However, if I go out front while someone holds the key over to start, and if I push it up and down at the front bumper, enough movement will get it to start. I'm thinking loose cable, but checked the battery, terminals to the junction fuse box, all tight. I went under it, removed the heat shield on the starter but still can't see where the cables go on the starter there. Anyone ever work on one of these or had a similiar problem? I thinking maybe a loose wire on the starter or maybe ignition switch after reading here. I'm open to suggestions.... NO warranty on this one....I bought it from insurance company. Has been running perfect for 5 months then this started a few days ago. Anyone of you ever deal with this problem? Thanks in advance. I have a Elantra I bought new and its been awesome car. No problems other than the normal stuff that wears out. Swampy Connecticut
