Default Center Console

I have a quick question about the center console. I wasn't sure where to put this so I posted it here and in the general forum. One of my friends pulled the cig lighter out of the socket and pulled loose the power wire, so she no longer has power to the lighter. In order to fix this, you either have to remove the eniter dash (ugh) or just the center console (no so ugh). However, this has proved harder than I thought, as something is holding the console in after I took all the screws out. Anybody know how to do this? Or at least why the console won't just slide out? Thanks for y'alls help!

I just so happen to have a picture of the left side of the center console cables

If you look down near your pedals you will see this, dissconnect the two cables from the white selectors (red) and then remove them from the clips (blue) also on the passenger side behind the glove box there is another cable and clip. After removing these three cables and dissconnecting the harness for the fan switch it should pull right out.
