Default Uh oh.

Okay, so I was taking out my center console to put in my old CD player, and uh oh. Tragedy struck.

It seems the pulley for the defrost section of the climate control has broken off and I can't find the missing piece of plastic. Now, I know how it works and how to fix it, but I can't find the plastic, so I'm screwed there.

Does anyone know where I can find either a new center console with all the pieces or what?

Also, if you think this would be covered by my warranty, that'd be amazing.

(ps The car in question is a 2005 Hyundai Accent 1.6 Hatchback GLS)

Put it back together as best as possible, with the stock head unit in there, take it in and tell them the climate control stopped working... See if they'll do the work under warranty.

I know they will charge if they think you tampered with it, so make sure everything in that area is stock...

Yeah, I mean the center console isn't damage at all or anything, but the defroster is broken.

The whole thing can come off of the center console, so I'm thinking there may be a chance my dealership can order just the defroster piece.
