Default Speaker/radio trouble

my girlfriend owns a tiburon and her factory speakers quit working all at once. the radio will come on and it looks like it runs fine, but no sound is heard through the speakers. she has an amp ran to 2 subs, and the amp is not recieving power either. i checked all the fuses and amp connections. im guessing it is something with her deck's wiring(factory deck). any suggestions?

It could be the trigger (remote) wire... if it is fed post fuse, check the fuse on the deck.

Default Same problem

I have the same problem with my factory kenwood on my 06 tibby. The head unit is on but no sound from the factory speakers. I haven't installed an amp or done any modifications to the sound system yet. It almost seems like a wiring problem to me because whenever I hit a bump or tap the center console next to the gas pedal the speakers will come on momenterily....Any suggestions?
