Go to your clutch shop and tell them you want a double diaphram preesure plate/clucth. they will know what you want. Thats the Stage 1 for a clutch upgrade, then if you want more(Stage 2) get them to make up a Button clutch with springs. very HARD clutch but you will get used to it...

Let me know what they say.

ive ran all the basic companies in my cars, act, clutchmasters, centerforce dual friction, spec, zoom, southbend, and by far the best has been the southbend DXD clutch. i now have put them in both my car's. second best was the dual friction clutch from centerforce. the act was nice, but was just to aggressive for the car it was on. (might have been cause it was a un-sprung 4 puck, but it was on a 12 sec mx6)

alright, just got my XTREME performance ACT street disk kit with pressure plate and throw out bearing. But no alignment tool. Should it have one? Any tricks to putting it in without one? For those who have or had this clutch, is it stronger than the stock valeo? Does it grab better and just feel over all strober, like a true upgrade, or is it just like your standard issue piece of shvt clutch?? And why no alignment tool??

for the install
Elantraxd.com - Installing a new clutch

I dont know why ACT does that, maybe because its a dollar part at the local parts house? No idea.

The ACT owns the stock clutch. IMO its even smoother for normal driving with the full face disc. It bites sooooo much harder. People with boost have used that same clutch and it olds. Rated for 235 but it can hold more.

I remember ya
