Default engine stutter??

Hey. Alright, when i rev my engine or start out from a dead stop, the car stutters and then finally kicks in and goes. What can I do about this? I was thinking maybe my throttle body just needs to be cleaned, but what do you think? Thanks!!

Go with one of the cheaper things to fix first, the spark plugs. Take them out and look for heavy corrosion, cracks, build up, etc. If the plugs are coated with heavy black soot then the car is running rich and getting more fuel than air. If they are melted, mis-shapen, or look as though they have been burnt badly then the car may be running lean and not getting enough fuel. (it's better to be a little rich) Once you have determinded it to be either, you can take appropriate measures. If the car has many miles I would replace the plugs any way. Other than that it could be something much more expensive like a loss of compression. There are quite a few things that could do this really, just hope it's something cheaper haha .

i checked my spark plugs and they seem to be in ok condition. they are a little black, but nothing extreme. I replaced them about 5,000 miles ago. should this be normal for spark plugs with 5,000 on them?

Make sure the resonator after your air sensor is sealed. When mine fell off it produced some similar odd phenomenon because it wasn't measuring all the air going into the engine. Besides, if that IS the problem, the fix is free, so check that first.

it happens pretty much everytime i take off from a dead stop. It seems like it is starving and then finally picks up. Where is the resonator located? Do you have a picture of it? I have a CAI on my car if that changes anything. I will definitely take a look at the resonator once I find it. Lol. Thanks!!
