Default Fuel consumption, 2007 2.0 Litre FWD

Drives great, Looks good, but I'm not getting great gas mileage, about 20 miles per gallaon in my 2007 Tuscon 2.0 Litre Fwd. Thats imperial gallon / 4.5 litres in an imperial gallon.
I don't drive hard, and that is city driving. Is anyone else having this problem.
Fuel consumption is supposed to be around 26 miles per gallon.

If it's a new Tuscon, get it looked at, beacuse 7mpg is a BIG difference.

If it was me, I'd get the O2 sensors looked at, or maybe just reset the ECU which has you take off the negative part of your battery and elave it off for 30 minutes. But, ti's a new car, and doing those things shouldn't be on your priority. Get the dealership to look at it

Default fuel mileage

For a 2007 Tucson with a gls package will get only 22 mpg in city and 26 high way. an SE trim will only get 20 mpg city and 26 hwy. These are with automatics with the stick it's only 22 or 23 depending on the trim for city driving. Depending on the driving habits you might get lower. You will also get alittle better after the break in period which usually is 5000 miles.
