cutting exhaust pipe

i kinda broke/tore the flex pipe. so im going with a universal flew pipe repair kit from pep boys. its like $7. but i need to know the easiest way to cut the pipe. i do not have a torch. im thinkin a saw-zaw. i may of spelled it wrong. it basically an electric hack saw for those who dont know. but i guess i wanna know how to do it. ive never actually replaced one.

Also, to further stop the leaks, place the leading replacement pipe edge (towards the exhaust ports) OVER your stock pipe then clamp it, and try and place the trailing edge INSIDE your stock pipe, and then clamp it. Exhaust only flows in one direction, clamping this way will almost ellminate all leaks. You can cut small groves in the pipe to make it compress, as long as you fully insert the pipe so the groves do not show.
