paint chips... ok my cars bumpers were chipped vigorously. y pay that much for a repair kit... do it yourself... its nothing hard. ok what i did is with the bad scratches, i used filler... cos it was needed... for normal chips, get wet and dry, bout 800-1200, wet it, dont use dry, then if you scrub at it for a bit, you'll see the water on the wet and dry go paint colour, just rub over it with you hand... then just use some prima after its dry (or dry it yourself), let it dry then get a touch up spray paint in your colour... just nice spray left to right then stop, left to right again... it works a treat. then of needed from paint spray (little pebbly bits around area) use some 1500 wet and dry (wet) but dont rub hard! mine looks as good as new now!

all that repair kit does is matches your paint on your car... spend the 40 bucks if ya want, or pop the bonnet, check out ure colour code and go to the shops for a touch up kit

ps: alot are acrylic now so you dont have to leave to dry for a week before sanding, do it in bout an hour

actually this kit is made so that you use the dealer touch up paint which is not included and just fill in the hole to the best of your abilities not everyone has the patience time and skill to wet sand and once the hole is filled in your use the specially formulated "blob removed" which i beleive is just a reformated paint thinner for acrylic paints to take the paint extra that is left above the surface and smooth it down to the surface of the car then it also gives you a selaer to seal the paint to protect it from fading and such well i guess i just answered my own question but thanks though i apreciate the input
