Default got a preblemo

i was checking my compression today and when i put the wires back on i put #3 cylinders plug wire on cylinder #4 and put #4 wire on #3...now i have a check engine light for misfires...do u think i can just clear the codes? my cars running like poo

hopefully you switched them back right? did you try resetting the computer?

yeah i switched them back i havent tried restarting the computer yet or erasing codes with my scanner thing but i will...do you think that trying to run on the wrong wires might have messed up something... i hope not im tired of this car having troubles

is it still running bad? reset your ecm. all you do is disconnect the battery for about 5-10 minutes and the ecm will reset its memory.

Put the plug wires back into the coils correctly also..

yeah i fixed it i guess it bend one of the ends of the spark plug ends for #1 cylinder so it runs good again
