Don't be embarassed. Just because you work for Autozone doesn't mean you know how to repair brakes. You may have one or more of several different issues. Your e-brake cables may be broken or seized which is why they don't hold the car. You may have a leak somewhere which is why the fluid level is dropping or maybe the level is down because your pads are worn out.

If you don't know what the problem is it might be best to have a shop look at it and repair it for you. At least you did the right thing and stopped driving it. Having no brakes is a bad situation.

I normally don't like getting answer such as, its under warranty goto the dealer or get a mechanic when I ask something... BUT. It is your brakes and the answer is not obvious. 99% of shops that specialize in brake repair do a free inspection/estimate. I wouldn't screw around with it. Take it to someone that knows brakes and get it fixed right the first time.

Just for the sake of search archives please come back and post the answer once you have one. Thanks and good luck.

The rear brake cylinders are NOTORIOUS for leaking and causing slow or mild fluid consumption issues and soft spongy brake pedal feel.

Get those rear drums off and check out the rear brakes and check out the wear or adjustment of the rear shoes. A good service of the rear brakes might be in order.

Thats where I would start.
