Tachometer problem Sonata 2000.

anyone experienced problems with the tachometer?

it doesn't work about 99% of the time.

could this have something to do with the amount of oil in the engine? i know some cars have this...hm...feature? the tach stops working if there is low oil.

my engine is currently low on oil, dont ask why

oh, btw, the engine is a G4JP, a mitsu, 2.0L 100kW, atleast i think it is.
