Pulse Generator? ticking noise help pls (PIC included)

2001 Accent LC 1.6 (auto)

While key on "On" and engine not running and shift control in R, D, 2 and 1 (except P and N), i'm hearing rapid ticking noise coming from this part.

Is this the pulse generator?
Should i be concerned with this ticking noise?

I think the part in question is call a "Neutral Safety Switch" or "Range Sensor".

Still hoping to get some advice on why is it ticking/clicking.

Hey mate,
No that ain't your pulse generators, your correct that it is your range switch. Can't say I've ever heard one ticking but that may be because i just didn't pay attention. Is this something that has just started happening or something you have just noticed? Does it sound like a relay ticking, light and fast, or more of a heavy metal tick?
Personally wouldn't be too concerned, plenty of ticks and stuff from various parts with ignition on.
