Oil leaking from top?

Hi all,

I'm a newb when in comes to car repair. It appears I have an oil leak around the top of my engine. From searching, it sounds like I need a new valve cover gasket, but I'm not sure. Also, how easy of a repair is this? I've read that I shouldn't need RTV for this car, and also that the bolt torque should be ~7 foot lbs, does this sound correct? Also, am I correct that

What kind of car do you have? From the under-hood pics, it looks like an Accent? Just make sure the gasket is for your year and model of car. No extra sealant is needed with the gasket. Be sure to tighten the bolts in the proper order and to the proper torque. And be sure to re-check/re-tighten the valve cover bolts after a couple of days of driving.
