Default Window Scratched...

Ok. So I just moved down to school, and i've got all this crap that i'm running around taking care of, and I get rushed and manage to lock my keys in my car. No big deal. Call the campus PD and get them to break into my car for me, right? Sure. Some goof w/ a slim jim trys for like 25 minutes to get into the car. No dice. So I guess that's a good thing. He says he can get into 95% of the cars, but he can't figure this one out... I hope thieves have the same problem... but anyways, onto the real problem.

When he was monkeying around w/ the slim jim, he managed to put an ace load of small scratches on the window. They are really small and shallow, but I can see them. Is there some sort of glass "polish" or something that will get these bad boys out?

thanks
trey

Griot's Garage has something called Glass polish. However, I have never used it I believe it was 8 dollars in their catalogue. Give that a shot. Its the only thing I can think of made for glass other then a glass cleaner like Windex. The website is www.griotsgarage.com.

Try: http://www.zainobros.com/index.shtml
They're prices are high, but it's the best stuff I've ever used. What you want is "Z-12". Ask the guys at www.lvfbody.com what they think of "Zaino".

Not really... I had to slim jim my own car (same reason - but I couldn't call roadside assistance 'cause the cell phone was also locked in the car).
It was fairly easy to do, it was just a matter of figuring out where to put the bend. Took me about 10 minutes.
