Default rain

i have a real cai(the ones that are routhed to the fog light opening in the front on my Sonata)and the car keeps on turning off when it rains hard when im not pressing the gas. I know its due to the mass amount of water hitting the filter but is there anything i can do about it.
i didnt care before because i only drove her when it rained lightly so no problem but now that i have to drive her all the time(accept snow) is there anything i can do to slove this problem

1) Pray you dont hydrolock your motor.

2) order an AEM bypass valve.

if he isn't pressing the gas then nothing is being sucked into the intake. could be another problem.

There is always something being sucked into the engine when it is running. The car needs air to run!

I have a bypass on my CAI set up & I have no problems. (even with my hoodscoop & we've had a lot of rain here in Texas this year!)

so even with his current setup allowing rain to go directly into the intake ( when it is raining ) the bypass valve will make it "ok" ? am skeptical about this and dry locking the motor is the last thing on my list of things to do.
