Default Tranny acting weird..

Lately when I've been driving the car, I hear this tick/chirp/chatter when I let out the clutch completely. When I push the clutch all the way in, the sound goes away, but if I'm at a stop light and idling with the clutch out, the noise comes back. Do you think I just need to change the gear oil, or something more serious? I don't know if I should take it to the dealer just yet. :ermm:

Do you feel the vibration on your prdal? It sounds like your clutch bearing is fried man, check the oil level in the clutch master cylinder and the gear oil level; if these are ok, and you still feel the pedal viibrating when you clutch in, the clutch bearing is gone and should be replaced.

I completely agree. It sounds like your throwout bearing is about to take a dump.

If you're going to pull all that stuff apart, you might as well replace the clutch as well.
