Finally time to beta swap, then supercharger :)

So here's a little background on the car, My grand father gave me the car 2 years before he passed away when i was 16 because my eclipse at the time was always breaking and i needed a reliable daily driver which this did the perfect job of until recently when the auto trans took a **** on me, so i had 2 options, 1 get rid of the car that has alot sentimental value for next to nothing or 2 keep it and fix it. To most that know me when i fix something i get a little carried away, so heres the current plan.... anything with * is purchased ready to be installed. i hope to have it atleast swapped within the month then standalone, supercharger, meth etc

Impressive list, you are gunna have to notch the beta block for the slave cylinder to mount properly. If you need more info on that I can get ya a link. Are you gunna slot the motor mount brackets to move the engine a bit to the left or are ya gunna beet the inner fender well for engine clearance? If you not slotting the brackets the 00-05 manual axles will be fine, no need for elantra axle. If your slotting the mounts but using the Accent manual trans I dont think the the elantra axle on your list will be the right fit. I had used that axle because the specs with the beta manual trans and slotting the brackets made it the right length.

Yea im gonna slot the mounts, I was going to upgrade my trans with an elantra or tiburon unit but I wasn't sure if thiers any real advantages plus I still have to buy the standalone and meth. I was tempted to get cp pistons but I'm starting to get a little crazy and out of budget

Well if you can get a 01-03 xd elantra trans it has excellent 1st and 2nd gear acceleration. There is a post going around hyundai aftermarket . org about the best beta trans to use and peeps are saying this is the one.

So I ended up going with an 02 elantra manual trans and a pretty aggressive act clutch. This is taking a lot longer than expected because I completely rebuilt the bottom end, had the car sent to the body shop to have a new radiator support installed and the frame straightened while I was there. Everything has been fitted and pulled and now the car is back in the body shop to have the engine bay painted. Hopefully soon I can get a chance to drive this thing
