That would be me... Remember the "snorkus"? 8D I started with a two-foot section of black 4" diameter ABS plastic, cut a vee-shape out of the side and then threw it in the oven and curled it so it ended up being 4" in diameter at one end and approximately 2" of inner diameter at the other end in one smooth long gradient -- a two foot long cone. I used an immediate 4" to 2" reducer adapter right at the MAF sensor to attach it that was modified slightly as to not have any rough edges inside.

The effect, at least to me, was very noticeable. It quited down a LOT versus most of my other intakes, it had great throttle response, and it seemed to work very well at mid to high RPM's.

It was also a heavy bastard and eventually fell off because I never did firmly attach it to anything :depressed: I started making a second one, but never finished it because my goals were really no longer N/A.

Took me about four days to mold it right, and another day or two of placement tinkering to get it to fit right. And hell, I never really dyno tested it, so I can't honestly and unbiasedly (is that a word?) tell you that it worked as well as I claim. It certainly seemed to though...

to reset the cpu you have to disconect the battrie for about 10 min but if you have new a new muffler you need to turn up your idle just not too much you can also make your car run lean and it will ad like 5 hp

Well... I actually did like what u said.... putting just a K & N Air filter right next to plastic oem intake pipe... (which was like 3-4 inch i believe... i don't know exactly how long but it's short enough)

It sounds good.... but heck a lot slower than when I had oem intake... it gave me more power at the very end of rpm.. but it's not practical way cuz to go upto that high rpm... too much gas is wasted... and not good for the engine too...

Now I replaced it to oem intake and try to look for the AEM Cold Intake...
Do anyone knows where I can get an instruction how to install Accord 94-97 CAI to Elantra 2002 step by step with picture?

Does the AEM cold air intake have an air cooler in it?

Does a resetted clock and radio (all preset stations lost) means that the ECU is already resetted? How can we be sure that ECU is resetted?

Thanx!

Just leave the battery undone for like 15 mins --- I just unhook it when I start working and remove it from the bay. By the time I'm done fussin in there it's usually been an hour or so!
Then you're really sure!
