Default has this happened to anyone?

I installed my bypass valve today right after the mafs. When i started it up it was fine i drove down the street and my engine started reving between 2000-2500 rpm. It did this for a couple of secs and then stopped and hasn't done it again. Could this have just been an adjustment or what?

AFTER the mafs as in between the mafs and throttlebody? If so, move it. It has to be before the mafs but high up in the engine bay. That rev was the bypass valve opening and the engine not knowing the correct amount of air coming into the engine.
