Since the Eclipse GSX engine and trans are in the opositive way of our tib tranny it would take along process and money to fit since our tibs tranny is to the left the eclipse trans its pointing to the right, but I have seeing tibs in the internet with lancer evo 4  and up engine since the tranny is pointing the same way as our tiburon, they do fit so if the evo 8 make it to the usa try the evo IV and up lancer turbo engine instead.

if i find the webpage where i saw it i would post it here ok

The transmissions will not fit. At least without lots of modifications to it and lots of money to do it.

Again even though the evo8 motor is mounted the same way, it will still take tons of money to fit the engine in there. You will need the motor, transmission, and ecu and lots of custom work.
