Default NGK V-Power Plugs

My car is supposed to take NGK V-Power BKR5E-11 plugs but all I can find around here around BKR6E-11 plugs....slightly hotter. Can they be used in my car? Any adverse effects? Better gas mileage perhaps? 8D

actually the 6E-11 is 1 step colder. They should work just fine or try an Oreilly's autoparts. They stock NGK plugs. Dont forget to gap the plugs to .041

Does it have the 1.5 L4 G4EK MFI SOHC engine in it?
If so:

V-Power BKR5E-11 6953 .044

PART NO. BOX QTY. U.S. FUNDS (per plug)

I posted that because he couldn't find them.....um, duh.....just letting him know that if that is what he wants and is looking for that he has somewhere to get them instead of settling for a lesser plug.:dead:8D

I ended up finding them here in town. They also had NGK G-power, so I bought them instead. Thanks everyone.

Isn't it basically the same thing without the little notch in the electrode? :ermm: I can never keep their plugs straight.

The little v-notch electrode thing is replaced by a thinner diamter platinum rod. They are supposed to be better. So far so good.
