Default 2003 Elantra engine, what hope is there?

I read about the lesser hyundai accent getting up to 300 bhp, and the tib getting crazy horse power... but what hope does this leave the 2.0 elantra engine owners?

Why focus on the accent when the stock elantra engine is bigger? Doing a search I didnt find much hope...

the Accent is a lighter car and its not tuned as much as tibbys, more than elantras probably but not tibbys

I've come to terms with this truth, and have decided that searching the ends of the earth for parts for my beta isn't worth it. Since I've come to this conclusion, I've decided to do up my ride with upgraded speakers and rims. Might as well show off if you can't have the speed. Besides, you're more likely to play with the speaker system more than the red line.

gold what the hell are you talking about. i could only dream of having the parts potential available for what youve got right now; a 2.0 beta with a MAP sensor. bro there are so many aftermarket headers; cams; pistons; turbo kits available for the beta id kill someone to get a beta back :ermm:. hell im even getting one offered to me cheap and i might just buy it... maybe just tro re-sell or build then sell. ooh now thats an idea!!!

I'm just saying I haven't found jack about the 2.0 engine for upgrades... only tiburon and accent stuff. Nothing that's in the ballpark and doesn't violate the warrantee instantly.

Come on guys they just want a little info.

RaZe, GoldElantra, try the search function. There are more than adequate modifications for your Betas! Surge Tanks[Powerbest in Korea?] cranks and strokers[RPW] turbos [CNK and Alpine] you name it! You may also want to check out the HP Shop since they should have a lot of this stuff in soon.

All the best with your projects.
