Default 160 MPH

I have a 03 Tiburon. I just got it a few weeks ago. i got the v4 as opposed to the v6 because it was brought to my attention that the v4 has more potential. Anyways I noticed that the speedo has a 160 mph top speed on it. Is this realistic. Can a Tiburon even be made to go to that top speed. If so please let me know how. I plan on turboing the car. Do you think that will make it possible forth 160 top speed? How much of a horsepower gain would I need to get all the way up there? thanks for any info that you can give me8D

~280whp should get you to 160mph provided you have the correct gearing to reach it. 'specially since the GK tibs drag coeficcient is great :rambo:. any decent/well designed turbo kit should put you right about there at .8-1bar boost.

Can it be done for about 6Gs. I will be going over seas to kick some Iraqie ass(I'm a U.S. Marine) so I will be saving a lot of money. I should come back with about 15 grand. I want to put 6 into the engine and 2 or 3 into the body ie. bodykit, rims, and wing. So is that wnough to make it possible?

i think it would be drag limited and even if your speedo read 160mph, you actually were doing around 145mph if your lucky

ok so if the speedo is reading 160 and he's only doing 145, that would mean the wheels are spining faster than the car, and I would highly doubt that would be true at the speed...

Don't know about the beta2 but isn't the beta1 gear limited to 140?
