Dweet,

What are the specs for the wires that you use to extend the O2 sensors?
(eg. max current or resistance)

When you installed the high flow cat. (replacement for the 1st cat.), did you had to relocate the second cat. far down the exhaust? or did it fit btw the headers and the 2nd cat.?

Thanks. :

Anton

high flow cat is in the same place as the stock... had a muffle shop cut the flanges off of the OEM cat and weld them onto my catco, as for the wire specs... i just eyeballed and it came out pretty close, just make sure you use wire markers when cutting wires.. dont want to couple the wrong wires together.. 2 of the 4 are the same color :??:

So the OBX 4-2-1 header was a direct bolt in other than the fact of having to use the #2 cat as the main cat right? and there was no O2 bung on the OBX header. Did I read that right?

its bolt on and go.. there is 1 bung right before the remaining cat, but there is no bung after the cat thats why you need a 16mm nut welded into the exhaust

also it couldn't hurt when your doing the wires, to get some masking tape and mark which wires are which so you won't get confused. that way you know where they go!

Also, if you notice your water temp rising when you stop at a light after the install, you're probably NOT overheating. The temp sensor is located near the upper radiator hose. On my brother's car, one of the primaries was heating up the stagnant coolant in the upper hose, causing the temp sensor to read high. As soon as I touched the throttle, the coolant would flow and the temp sensor would read normal. The way I solved this was to wrap his header with exhaust wrap. Problem solved.

yes, this was decently informative. Some pics would be nice, so if anybody has some, post them up.

here is a pic of the shield hitting the bottom of the header

Here is a pic of what the bay looked like right before i installed the header...
notice the left radiator fan was temporarily removed and the alternator was loosened to get the header to fit on right

A completed project
