Default Re: can a 2.0l headers fit a 1.8l?

The 2.0L has the same head as the 1.8L so it should be a straight bolt on affair. If you can try to get some 4-1 headers with very long primarys that run almost to the rear side of the oil sump. This would give you best top end power. YOu will lose very slight low down power but i honestly think that the excellent top end that you will be gaining will make it all worth while.
If you are not able to get 4-1 headers and have to get 4-2-1 make sure that the secondary pipes are very long and end up on the far side of the sump as well. This will also promote top end power.
Have fun in your quest and keep us posted!
