Until I get dyno results, this is just an educated guess.....but I'd say "yes".

These are based on dyno's that he did.

It isn't an educated guess.

Rob, I didn't mean Professor Ko's statement was an educated guess. I was referring to my statement of "yes" in regards to croool_lantra's question. The "education" came from Professor Ko's statement plus my own research.

I am seriously considering a cam swap right now. I would prefer to go with the Cat Cams but the $$$ is a little tight right now. Because I work for a dealership, I could likely get the 1.8 or XD cam for realatively cheap due to my employee discount.
If this cam swap will be more of a waste of money, then I'll wait for the Cat Cams.

Besides... I am still waiting for Speedstate to finnish with their headder and high flow cat combo. That will pretty much finnish off my I/H/E setup.

I know how to swap cams since I did one on a 1999 Elantra, so that portion doesn't bother me. I just don't want to have regrets about buying a useless part.

Butt Dyno's aren't gonna sell this. I need to see that charts!

isnt this the CAM that came standard in the UK F2 evo ?

surely you'd expect hyundai NOT to put a cam into the beta1 if there was
wear issues.

just a thought.

Im not too sure...RSD were the co. that re-designed the F2 into the F2 evo.

i checked dealer prices and the price for the lantra GT cam was the same as the F2 evo so im assuming that RSD just straight swapped the cams and didn't re-profile them themselves...

i didnt realise the SE had a different cam to other tiburon models ?!
