I moved my evap canister underneath the intake piping right behind the battery-where the air box used to be. I used the original mouning hardware that was used for the canister and just ran a bolt through the hole where the air box was screwed to. The canister lays on its side, so you have to make the valve - the blue thing with the arrow on it, so the arrow is facing down. Just extend all of the hoses, and solder longer wires in for the sensor connection. My CEL was on until I fixed the valve problem (left it sideways at first). Then I just extended the hose and pointed it down. My CEL then went off and hasnt come on since. By the way, the canister is very tight and doesnt move around at all. Feels good to prove the company wrong-now it fits 1.8's too! You can do almost anything if you put your mind to it!

When you buy an CAI, like AEM the piping has places for your sensor.

Sorry to bring this post bakc alive. but...
I removed my canister couple months back and now i want to relocate it.
For the people that relocated their cannister, what parts did you guys use, (exmp. Size/length of piping, and anything else you used)?.. i pretty much want to get this done and not have to drive back and froth from homedepot.
Thanks
