Default who makes the best overall Cams

I have 2001 tiburon and just received my SAFC from apex my installer told me that I was only going to see about 5or so HP but if I change the CAMS I could see anywhere from 15 to 30HP I have upgrade every thing from the Air Intake back to the exhaust and have a adjustable fuel pressure regulator from SR. So who makes that cam and will the car still be street driveable. Note what is the typical fuel pressure to go with aftermarket. Help a Brother OUT:ermm:

Of course it will be streetable. Cams are not going to put you over 190whp if you have EVERYTHING done to your car, which I doubt. Cams can produce major hp gains, probably the most of any N/A part, but they cost a lot. Not only will you need cams, but you need stronger valve springs to handle the long term effects.

it seems no one really knows yet. There are a few out there... SR, Catcams, Kspec.com sales some too. But none really knows what they do for our cars or how they affect drivability.
do a search for more info.

Your fuel pressure should be around 2.2 to 2.6 tops for the current modes that you have....

In any camshaft modification, it maybe neccessary to remap the ECU for the new specs. While having an SAFC helps with A/F ratio, however it does nothing for the ignition timing. This means that either getting a Apexi ITC or a MSD-DIS2. It would also be good to have bigger injectors and adjustable sproket.

If street application is what you want, try not exceed a duration of 270 degree...lift is usually between 9.5 to 10.5...I think
